How we do housing
What we offer
A family rarely needs only one of these. Housing and care sit side by side here, so nobody has to start over with a new stranger when circumstances shift.

Independent living with help a few steps away — private and shared housing, on your own schedule.

A real home to rent in a family-style house — private and shared rooms, with care close at hand.

A supportive place to stay and get your strength back after a hospital stay, an illness, or surgery.

Honoring those who served, and helping veteran families ask about the benefits they earned.

The everyday help that keeps someone safe at home — a few hours a week or around the clock.

A room to rent, a safe place to start again, or a stable home as a young person leaves foster care — quietly, and without judgment.
Not sure where your family fits? That is the usual starting point. Tell us what a hard morning looks like.

About Crystal Pearl
Crystal Pearl is run by Teresa, who has made it her work to give veterans, seniors, and adults with disabilities a safe home and the care they deserve. It exists for one reason: so that a veteran, a senior, or an adult with a disability can keep living with their dignity intact, in a place that feels like a home and among people who know their name.
We offer private and shared housing through our Independent Living Home Care Program, and transitional housing for someone getting settled or recovering. We also provide recovery support after a hospital stay, and day-to-day help with daily living for seniors and adults with disabilities, plus help for veterans and their families.
Private pay is accepted, and we keep home care affordable for the families who need it: we will talk cost through with you honestly, before anything is agreed. Often a family needs two or three kinds of help at once, and that is exactly what we are set up for.
We are a small operation by choice. Teresa answers the phone herself, and the people who care for your family are the same people you met on your first visit.
Housing
Residents live in a comfortable house, not a wing of a facility. There are bedrooms to make your own, a kitchen that actually gets used, a porch to sit on, and a table where everyone eats together. We offer private and shared housing — a room of your own, or a shared room with company built in.
Independent living is our focus. Some come and keep their own schedule, with help only if they want it. Some rent a room. And transitional housing is available too — a supportive place to stay for a time while someone gets settled or gets well, with care on hand the whole way. Care is here all day either way, and someone is awake through the night.
Private pay accepted. Ask us and we will walk you through exactly what a room includes and what it costs, plainly, on the first call.

Comfortable rooms, home-cooked meals, and company at the table. Ask us about availability and what a room includes.
Waiting list
Our rooms fill up, and there is often a waiting list. The best way in is simply to add your name — then we will call you as soon as something opens up.
There is no cost to join and no obligation. You are not signing anything, and you can take your name off again with one phone call.

Only your name and a phone number are needed. Everything else helps us call you with the right room in mind.
A safe place to stay
Not everyone who needs a room is a senior, and not every difficult season looks the same. Some people simply need their own space at a rent they can manage. Some need to leave a difficult situation at home and start again somewhere steady. Some are young people who have been in foster care, or who have recently aged out of it, and who need somewhere stable to live while they find their feet.
All of them are welcome to call. You do not need a referral, a file, or a tidy explanation of your life so far — just a phone call or a short note.

Every resident is treated with dignity and privacy. What you tell us stays between us, and every inquiry is handled quietly, and without judgment.
01
A clean, comfortable room in a home where the lights are on and someone else is around. Private and shared rooms, and a rent you can actually manage. Meals and a hand with daily life are there if you want them.
02
If home is no longer a safe place to be, there is somewhere quiet to come while you work out what happens next. Come as you are. You will not be asked to explain yourself at the door, and you will not be hurried.
03
If you are in foster care, or you have recently aged out of it, and you need a stable place to live and support as you start out on your own, we would like to hear from you. There is room here to be nineteen and still figuring it out.
Private pay is accepted here too. Ask us plainly what a room comes to and what it includes, and we will answer the same way.
More about staying with usRooms fill up. Add your name to our waiting list and we will call you as soon as something opens — there is no cost to join and no obligation.
For those who served
Veterans are at the heart of what Crystal Pearl does. Too many families spend months paying out of pocket for care that a veteran may have already earned the right to.
There are VA programs that can help with care for eligible veterans and surviving spouses. We are not the VA, and we cannot promise anyone a benefit. What we can do is sit down with you, explain what those programs are called, and help you start the paperwork.
If you are caring for a veteran, ask us about veterans assistance before you write another check.

How this usually goes
01
You tell us what has changed. We listen, ask a few practical questions, and tell you honestly whether we can help.
02
We meet your parent where they live — at home, or at our house — so everyone can see what it would actually feel like.
03
Housing, hours, routines, medications, meals, and who to call. Written down, agreed on, and easy to change as things change.
04
The same familiar faces, the same schedule, and a family that hears from us before they have to ask.
Where we work
Our house stays put, but our home care team travels to you, across different cities and counties. Tell us the city your parent lives in and we will tell you straight away whether we can be there.
Talk to us
Tell us what is happening, and we will tell you honestly what we can do. If we are not the right fit, we will say so.
